Refund Policy

Digital Products - No Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of Shopify themes from MADEWITH.MUMIN are final and non-refundable. Once you have purchased and received access to download the theme files, we cannot offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations.

Why We Don't Offer Refunds

Digital products, including Shopify themes, are delivered instantly upon purchase. Once you have access to the files, we cannot "take back" the product. This policy is standard across the digital goods industry and protects us from unauthorized use of our intellectual property.

Before You Purchase

We encourage you to:

  • Review the theme demo thoroughly
  • Check the theme documentation and features list
  • Ensure the theme is compatible with your Shopify plan
  • Contact us with any pre-purchase questions at Client Services

Technical Support

While we don't offer refunds, we do provide technical support for legitimate bugs or issues with the theme:

  • If the theme files are corrupted or cannot be downloaded
  • If the theme doesn't function as described in the documentation
  • For assistance with theme installation and setup

Support does not include:

  • Customization requests beyond the theme's built-in settings
  • Third-party app integration issues
  • General Shopify platform questions

Exceptions

We may consider refunds only in the following rare circumstances:

  • You were charged twice for the same purchase due to a technical error
  • The theme files were never delivered and cannot be accessed
  • The theme is fundamentally broken and cannot be fixed

All exception requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase.

Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first may result in permanent suspension from purchasing future products and access to support.

Our Shopify themes are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to create high-quality, bug-free products:

  • Beta/Early Release: Some themes may contain bugs or issues
  • Ongoing Development: We continuously improve and update our themes
  • No Guarantee: We do not guarantee that themes will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Compatibility: Themes are tested with standard Shopify features but may have compatibility issues with certain third-party apps

Your Responsibility

If you encounter bugs or issues:

  • Report Immediately: Contact us at Client Services with detailed information
  • Provide Details: Include screenshots, error messages, and steps to reproduce
  • Testing: We recommend testing themes on a development store before using on a live site
  • Backups: Always backup your store before installing new themes

Limitation of Liability

Product License Agreement

By purchasing and downloading a Shopify theme from MADEWITH.MUMIN, you agree to the following license terms:

License Grant

This is a legally binding agreement between you (the "Licensee") and MADEWITH.MUMIN (the "Licensor"). Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Shopify theme according to the terms below.

What You CAN Do

✓ Single Store Use: Use the theme on one (1) Shopify store only

✓ Modifications: Customize and modify the theme for your own use

✓ Commercial Use: Use the theme for your commercial online store

✓ Client Projects: If you're a developer, you may install the theme on one client's store (client must be informed that they don't own redistribution rights)

✓ Backup Copies: Create backup copies for archival purposes

What You CANNOT Do

✗ No Redistribution: You may not sell, resell, lease, license, or distribute the theme

✗ No Sharing: You may not share the theme files with others

✗ No Multiple Sites: You may not use the theme on multiple stores without purchasing additional licenses

✗ No Sublicensing: You may not sublicense or transfer your license to another party

✗ No Theme Marketplaces: You may not upload the theme (modified or unmodified) to any theme marketplace or repository

✗ No Claiming Ownership: You may not claim the theme as your own work or remove copyright notices

Multiple Store Policy

If you wish to use the theme on multiple Shopify stores, you must purchase a separate license for each store. For volume licensing inquiries, contact us at Client Service.

Intellectual Property Rights

  • Ownership: MADEWITH.MUMIN retains all intellectual property rights, title, and ownership of the theme
  • Copyright: The theme is protected by copyright laws and international treaties
  • Your Content: You retain ownership of all content (products, images, text) you add to the theme

Updates and Support

  • Updates: You will receive free updates and bug fixes for the theme version you purchased
  • Support: Technical support is provided for legitimate bugs and issues (see Refund Policy for details)
  • No Guarantee: Updates and support are provided at our discretion; we do not guarantee continuous updates

Warranty Disclaimer

THE THEME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. MADEWITH.MUMIN DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Error-free or uninterrupted operation

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL MADEWITH.MUMIN BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages exceeding the purchase price of the theme

License Termination

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically if you:

  • Violate any terms of this agreement
  • Redistribute or share the theme files
  • Use the theme on more stores than licensed

Upon termination, you must:

  • Stop using the theme immediately
  • Delete all copies of the theme files
  • Remove the theme from your Shopify store(s)

Governing Law

This license agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to This License

We reserve the right to modify this license agreement at any time. Changes will apply to future purchases but will not affect existing licenses.
